Certificate Requests

We can obtain Birth, Marriage and Death certificates from the GRO (General Register Office) for England and Wales. If you already know the full GRO reference we can order the certificate for you. Please click to order a certificate.  

The cost is £15 per certificate. This must be paid in advance. Please contact us if you wish to use our PayPal account. This includes the cost of sending the certificate by airmail for overseas clients and first class mail for UK clients. Before sending the certificate out to you we will send you a transcription of the details by e-mail.

Please note that in the case of marriages the fact that two names have the same volume and page number does not necessarily mean that the persons concerned were married to each other.

If for any reason the GRO is unable to produce a certificate we charge a fee of £7.50 to cover the GRO fee and our costs.
